Hello Net Impact Boston Members,
I recently returned from a lovely week in Charleston, SC, and I decided to bring the warm weather back north with me. I hope you’re enjoying it. Upon returning I was delighted to see that the trees of New England had begun to flower – a true sign of spring’s arrival and a fitting way to end Earth month. Although, shouldn’t every month be Earth month?
At the end of this current Earth month (May, in case you’ve lost track) we’re providing an opportunity for Net Impact Boston members to tour the largest indoor wind blade testing center in North America! We are hoping you can join us late morning on Friday, May 29 at The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center’s (MassCEC) Wind Technology Testing Center (WTTC) in Charlestown to discover the latest wind turbine blade testing and prototype development methodologies. More details below.
The week prior to that, you can meet some of the people who will be on the WTTC tour at our monthly Sustainability Breakfast on Wednesday, May 20 at Pret A Manger. Plan on stopping by before work and we can share our enthusiasm for renewable energy and plot activities for the next Earth month (June).
